§ Drive gear unit to deflection compensated rolls
up to web speed 1800 m/min
§ Foot-mounted gear unit, which is integrated to
the roll, serves also as a bearing pedestal of the
roll
§ Alignment of the HS-shaft and tooth contact of
the gear unit remains unchanged regardless of
the nip loads of the roll
§ The gear unit’s internal coupling design and
sealing solutions allow the movements of the roll
shell caused by deflection of the roll center shaft
§ The gear unit is designed as per customer’s
requirements
§ Suitable for roll modenizations, e.g to replace
triple ring bearing
§ Lubrication oil to the gear unit is supplied from
the hydraulic system of the roll
